Sangemneri breed is from Maharashtra, India. You will find these Goats in Ahmednagar, Pune, Nasik, etc. This is mostly a white in color, you can also find some with brown and Black with sports of 3 colors.
This is reared for both Milk and Meat. Meat quality is good while Milk yield is somewhere around 1-2 liters per day.
A medium sized breed with long hairs and average birth weight around 1.9 kg. It Kids once a year, single or twins, Average age at first kidding is around 18 to 20 months.
Buck weight is around 38kg and doe 29kg.
